It's msdt.exe, but I'm not sure how to use it from the command line. Once you download and extract the toolkit, youll find the suite includes 12 utilities. When I do this, the troubleshooter automatically fixes everything, but it is visible and requires me to close it manually when it's finished. You have to enable remote administration and I think turn on the GPO to allow spooling via network connection. This page says how to allow ports through the firewall, but not how to add applications, and I see here that the firewall settings vary depending on the network type. This is for automation and I tried editing the registry entry HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Remote Assistance\fAllowToGetHelp but the troubleshooter comes up and needs it to allow it through the firewall. ![]() The equivalent of checking this box and hitting Apply. These new capabilities simplify management and provide more advanced controls to configure Firewall rules, allowing admins to reuse setting groups across policies.
